You need to install NTP component and use the firewall to block ICMP

    See here:

Set a location and apply the policy to it

    Hello,

Location Awareness is a policy created on SEPM.

    Check these Articles:

More about Location Awareness in Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP)

Adding a group location in Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEPM) without a wizard

Configuring mobile computers to automatically download definitions when disconnected from the Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 Management console

    Hope that helps!

    Do it on SEPM: Clients> Policies> Tasks> Manage  location> Add a location> add a location name ,

Then choose "Switch to the location">Add > Computer IP Address,

You can choose what you want.

    Thank you !
