Hi Tony , The best part is disk management. Unbelievable optimisation. Forward and reverse delta feature. But the upgrade Will run minimum 30 min. High permissions needed since they have New service called symantec launcher service . So make sure you have full privileges. Issues : Client deployment failure. Embedded DB Will stop if you don't have privileges. View notification in the home tab seems to have a issue. File cache has not yet fixed. SVA file put in file connect had file finger print issue. .

That is a lot of issues - I think I will hold out for RU5MP1 :)

If your upgrades have gone smooth in the past, this should be no different. Just ensure you have enough space to run the upgrade.

Thanks for that - I do use replication so that's good to know.

    Cheers

Yes, that's true, but new update do cause issuses, however.

Looking at someone else's comment, I think I might wait for the next release. But then, the next release may have other bugs... this is not going to stop, eh??

In my experience, it is always better to wait for the Maintenance pack release to sort out issues from previous version, especially with this being a newer Release update. I can afford to upgrade my lab environment but not on production as I have more than 40000+ clients and can't risk anything seriously going wrong and only to find out that is it a bug,.

What are you concerned about? Every release may have issues, etc. This holds true for every product put out by every company. There is no such thing as a perfect product.

True - no product is perfect - but do you want to be the one to raise all issues to the customer before upgrading and then explain what is being done about it?

My upgrades are done in QA/non-prod and tested thoroughly prior to going into production so it's not at the top of my worry list.
