SEP 12.1 RU2

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Now I am running SEPM11 RU6 MP3 On Win Server 2003 with SQL Server 2005.

Can we directly upgrade from SEPM 11 RU6 MP3 to SEPM 12.1 RU2 ?

Upgrade and Migration paths

Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.2 (RU2) can upgrade seamlessly over the following:

  • Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.1101.401 (RU1 MP1)
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.1000.157 (RU1)
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.671.4971 (RTM)
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x (can be upgraded to enterprise version only)
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 12.0

Yes, You could migrate directly.

Latest Symantec Endpoint Protection Releases - Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1. RU2

Note: If incase you do not see the SEP 12.1 RU2 Release on Fileconnect, you may see the same in few days on your Fileconnect Account.

--> You can upgrade from SEPM 11 RU6 MP3 to SEP 12.1 RU2

In case you see SEP 12.1 RU2 available for download then it might be in English Edition only.

For local languages you might have to wait for few more days. (Probably till 30th Nov'12)

For suites you might have to wait till December'12.
