Hi ,

Does any having  any issues SEP 12.1 RU3 Installing /Upgrading  failures , While deploying through SCCM  / or SCCM OSD task sequence. ?

We have failures while installing through SCCM OSD task Sequence , no issues for SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1 version .

Can you post the SEP_INST.log file from an affected client? Located in %temp% directory.

I would suggest opening a support case if your issue is not being resolved thru the forum.

Hi Mithun / Brian,

the first I was created for different issue, for reboot issue (for older version 12.1 RU1 MP1), and the second one is  for failures issues . 

Not sure both are same issues  , as I mention earlier , we don't any issue for 12.1 RU1 MP1 version .

Are you doing an upgrade or it's a fresh install?

You have not attached requested logs (SEP_Inst.log). Log file can give some helpful into to troubleshoot issue further.

If issue is occuring with fresh install as well then need to log a case with Support because it's a latest version of SEP.

Let me clear some more information version wise.

12.1 RU1 MP1

We have no issues while Deploying client through SCCM OSD  task Sequence, only reboot issue as I mention in the below link

12.1 RU3 

SEP client installation falied  when we deploy through SCCM OSD  task Sequence. Please find atached install logs. (this installation on fresh PC , SEP client installed during the OS installation).. I found some errors from Install log, and I found the below article  for that error , but we are not using the windows defender .

still we didn't check the reboot issue, because client is not installed .

When install teh same package manually , installation was success.

When you do install manually it works perfectly without reboot prompt? It works perectly with fresh install and upgrade as well?
