  • 1.  SEP 12.1 RU5 64-bit client won't update

    Hello,

My network admin and I just noticed on our SEPM console that none of our SEP 12 RU5 clients are updating since Dec 31st at 10:30 pm.  Acting like it doesn't want a Happy New Year (sorry, bad jk).  I believe this happened one time before and it may have been a corrupt definition file that was the cause but I am unsure.  Has anyone experienced the same issue and if so do you happen to have a solution?  Thank you!

Can you enable sylink logging on one affected client? Also, run the symhelp tool on the SEPM as well to see what it shows.

    Is the SEPM updated?

Clear the corrupt definition and download new set from SEPM..once SEPM has it should send that to clients.

Corrupt definitions prevent Endpoint Protection clients from receiving updates
