  • 1.  SEP 12.1 RU6 cannot update definieiton from liveupdate server

    I update SEPM and Liveupdate server to version 12.1.7004.6500.

    And then update SEP on all client from 12.1.5337 to 12.1.7004.6500.

    After that I found many client (not all) cannot update definition from liveupdate server.

    How can I resolve this problem?

    Download and run the symdiag tool on one affected client for additional error checking:

    I've always found the below articles to help in sorting update issues:

    As a start though, is there any discernable difference between those that work and those that don't?  Is it something like the 64bit machines successfully update their VDefs and the 32bit ones fail?  The above articles talk about clearing possible corrupt definitions and the like, which may be of help...
