I have mentioned this problem in two threads so far and nobody has been able to provide me with any useful information:

http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/manual-scan-pop-ups-occuring-all-remote-desktop-sessions
I have used Symantec Cleanwipe before upgrading to 12.1, and have used it each time I re-installed 12.1. I never had any manual scans going for the 11.x versions. So, I have no idea why my SEP 12.1 decides to scan every day on my Windows 7 x64 machine. It does NOT scan on my XP machine, which was also upgraded (but using Cleanwipe to remove the older version) from 11.x.
This is really annoying. I wouldn't mind if I didn't SEE the scan, but to log in to my machine and have a scan pop-up is pretty annoying, especially when I can't even disable it from happening again.
