Can i still SEP 12.1 on WIN 8 RTM?

Yes you can install SEP 11.0./12.1 on Win8 , BUT IT IS NOT SUPPORTED BY SYMANTEC.

SEP 12.1 Not Supported Windows 8.

Support for Windows 8 is coming in the next release (SEP 12.1.2)

The Symantec Beta Program is now accepting applications to participate in the Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 RU2 Program which began in early July.

Win 8 would be released on 26 Oct,2012 as per Microsodt. it  may be released after that..A month or two.

check this waht Symantec support says

Hello,

SEP 12.1 RU2 supports Windows 8 machines. As of now, the Windows 8 machines are not supported.

RU2 is still under beta testing.

It means that if you install it and there are any issue Symantec is not resposible.

Symantec employess says if you are interested in Beta Testing for SEP 12.1 RU2, check this

Windows 8 may be supported in SEP 12.1 RU2.

No Official date has been announced as of now.
