  • 1.  SEP 12.1.4.x missing from FileConnect/FlexNet/whatever it's called at this point

Trying to get the latest version of SEP, but the last one I'm seeing is 12.1.4a from February - no 12.1.4.1 or 12.4.1a.  Our support is paid up through September.

Am I missing something, or does someone at Symantec need to do something to help us out?

Last I saw it was out there and per this article:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/symantec-endpoint-protection-121-release-update-4-maintenance-patch-1a-121-ru4-mp1a-english-ha

    English version yea?

You can contact support if necessary.

I saw that thread earlier, actually, while looking for a solution :)

Looks like we're experiencing the same issue that LinwoodR was seeing - new versions just are not showing up.

Support should be able to get you the download :)

There are two options on FileConnect for 12.1:

Be sure to use the first one. You will find 12.1.4 MP1a there.

For two serial numbers (we have three, for some reason...) the first option doesn't exist, but instead I get "Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0" which results in an empty download list and the "Update..." option.

For the third serial number, the "Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1" link is there, but the available downloads presented appear to be even older - dated May 26 2011.

Clicking through that option dated May '11 does, however, result in links to 12.1.4.1a.  I'm not sure why Symantec would expect users to click on something clearly marked as May 2011 to get a product released in April 2014...

    Thanks, MichaelD50!
