  • 1.  SEP 12.1.x and ClearCase 8.x dynamic views

    If you use SEP 12 and ClearCase...

    You may be aware of the issue that IBM has documented around Symantec 12.1.2 and 12.1.3 creating a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) when working with ClearCase dynamic views.  (See http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21638422)

    We're working with Symantec to get some more information about this, and I'm hoping folks here can help us out.  If you have any experience, good or bad, with running any version of SEP 12.1.x and ClearCase 8, please take a minute to complete the poll here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/polls/are-you-using-or-have-you-tested-symantec-121x-and-clearcase-8x-dynamic-views

    We are particularly interested in learning:

    • Are people successfully using 12.1.1?
    • Do version 12.1.2 & 12.1.3 always create BSODs with ClearCase 8 dynamic views?  Or are some people successfully using 12.1.2/12.1.3 with ClearCase 8 dynamic views?

    Would love to dive into more discussions in this thread too.
