  • 1.  SEP 12.x unmange can count in License?

    Hi, I have a query regarding Symantec Endpoint protection 12.x, Actually we have symantec  endpoint protection license per user. If we install Unmanage SEP client on the system, Is it  countable in License??

    please kindly provide the solution.

    No it's not count in SEPM console

    Unmanaged clients require the manual installation of a license file. However, to enable the submission of reputation data from an unmanaged Windows client, you must install a paid license on the unmanaged client.

    It wont be counted from SEPM ( as it has no idea about it), but you need to have a valid license for every endpoint ( managed / unmanaged ) you run in your environment.
