Hello,

Starting on 2009-11-04, we started having problems downloading PDF documents just on Windows Vista machines.  We are running SEP 11.0.4202.75.  Four out of Five downloads result in the error "The data area passed to a system call is too small".  When we disable SEP, everything is fine.  On our XP clients we do not have this problem.  On the machines not running SEP we do not have this problem.  Prior to 2009-11-04 we did not have this problem.

Any ideas what is causing this, and if it is a bug in the latest update, when it will be fixed?

Thanks.

The data area passed to a system call is too small

You can check this Vista forum link and see whether it helps. In case you have installed all the features of SEP I would recommend try uninstalling the NTP feature through add/remove programs and then check for the performance.
