  • 1.  SEP auto package update from 12.1.2015 to 12.1.4112

I just want to know if there's an effect in Network Access Control when I use auto-package update in specific client group? I just install package from a group that has 12.1.2015 SEP clients installed and use 12.1.4112 SEP package. The problem is all of the clients updated to 12.1.4112 got disconnected from the network and sometimes their's PC is always restarting.

There is no effect but you need to Upgrade SNAC also.

In SEPM 12.1.5  SNAC function inbuilt in SEPM console.

Ideally you want to get to 12.1.6 as it has SNAC built-in.

Do they still have SNAC showing up?

But the problem is, when clients get updated from 12.1.2 to 12.1.4, the clients got disconnected from the network and they are having a problem with their NAC. Some clients that has no NAC component get a NAC component installed in their SEP clients and others that has NAC installed removed their NAC component.

It's possible it could be a known issue but since those are old versions you'd have to go back thru the fix notes to check. Have you tried 12.1.6 yet?
