  • 1.  SEP Centralized Exceptions: Client Restrictions as Domain User or Domain Admin

    Posted Apr 16, 2010 06:43 AM

    Hi
Just finished education in SEP to take over a SEP installation: so first post, appologies if already discussed.

When Client Restrictions for Centralized Exceptions allows the "user" to create local exceptions, I seem to see that a Domain Admin can add local exceptions but a Domain User cannot.
Is this what should be happening?

Also, in terms of audit, is it possible to see which local exceptions have been defined?

As in, from the SEPM (centrally) and not just on the "local" machine

EDIT: Rafeeq seems to have answered this: not possible, so he got a thumbs up for this part of the question

If you allow the user to add exceptions, Domain Users should be able to just fine.  I have it set for a couple groups and am able to perform these tasks as the user.
