    hi

    Please let me know the solution

    Symantec Endpoint Protection  Client Failing when instaling on Windows7 64bit

    the error shows in Event viewer

     

    The description for Event ID 37 from source Symantec Endpoint Protection cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

    The following information was included with the event:

    SepMasterService

    the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table

    Call support and request the Cleanwipe tool. Run that than try the install again.

    Hi,

    first copy the package in that particular system and try to install.If not work try the clean wipe and reinstall with the proper new package.

    Copy the setup on local system (on system where you want to install SEP) and then excute sep.msi file.

    HI, 

    Verify the installer is good, and as earlier said use clean wipe tool and try to install, also check the SEP_INST.log.

    Hi,

    Call the support and open a ticket.

    Otherwise upload SEP_inst.log located in "Temp" folder and the SIS_Inst.log located on %\ProgramData\Symantec\TheCurrentSEPVersionBuilt\Data\Install\Logs\

    CleanWipe should always be the last shot but will never resolve the issue if there is any missing pre-requisites for SEP Install.

    Hey Problem Solved

    After Running  "Cleanwipe tool" with Symantec Tech Support after Uninstalling  "microsoft essentials"

    i am able to install Symantec Client

    Thanks to Tech Support and Friends who responded
