    Do you have a log?

Can the client talk to the SEPM over tcp 8014?

May need to troubleshoot, see here:

Troubleshoot communication issues with Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1

I'm confused. Is it managed now? Does it become unmanaged after an upgrade and then after a reboot it becomes managed again?

After upgrade via bigfix ,it is becoming unmanaged and even after reboot as well.

If you've done all the troubleshooting from the link I posted and tried a repair then you should also perform packet captures to see what is going on. You may also want to enable sylink debugging to see the communication between client and SEPM.

Verify the package deployed through bigfix (IEM) tool or create a new package to make further deployment. Try this way

    1) Export new package through SEPM & deploy on 1-2 clients manually

    2) Use same package in the bigfix (IEM) tool & deploy on 1-2 clients.

This way it might get isolated where is the issue.
