    I'm trying to install SEP client, it fails on a Windows 7 machine 32 bit.

      Solution :
      
      Try installing Sep using another user account preffered Admin 
      Remove all folders for sep from c:\prgfile\  c:\doc and setting\ c:\prog\common file
      Take back up of registry type symantec in search and find for entries ,remove them .
      Reboot the machine and install sep as run as admin if win 7 or 2008 .
