Solution : Try installing Sep using another user account preffered Admin Remove all folders for sep from c:\prgfile\ c:\doc and setting\ c:\prog\common file Take back up of registry type symantec in search and find for entries ,remove them . Reboot the machine and install sep as run as admin if win 7 or 2008 .
