Endpoint Protection

HI,

We are using SEP MR4MP2 version. We have install manage client on Microsoft ISA Server 2004. We have only installed AV/AS component of SEP.

The client is not able to communicate with SEPM server and we are not able to green dot on the client shield icon.

I've done basic troubleshooting such as ping, telnet to SEPM server on port 80 as we are using default port and we are able to do that.

Please let me know incase any changes need to be done on ISA server.

You are right. I am getting "Page cannot be displayed"

open your iis.
right click symantec web server
select properties
directory security
authentication and access control
check if you have any ip restriction add, it should be set to all allowed. should not be bound to specific ip.

Try by repairing SEP client from add/remove programs..

Hi Arvind,

When we stop the ISA services, we are able to get the green dot on our SEP client Icon. It is able to communicate to the SEPM server.

But when we start the ISA service, the client is not able to communicate to the SEPM server.

Repairing, fresh installation all these basic troubleshootign have been done before posting the issue here in forum.
