Hi,

I have installed SEP on a client machine.

However on the SEP management server, the virus definition is empty. It is not showing any verison of my virus definition. Only this client has this problem. Why is that so?

Another issue is my client domain is wrong. It is showing the computer name as the domain.

HOw can we change these?

If SEP is installed, what will happen if we push down the client package again?

Install package

You can push the install package again--it will re-install the clients nothing worng will happen.

This client is this having a green dot on it ?
sometimes the client takes sometime to upload its log in SEPM 1hr at the Max.

Try un-installing and re-deploying the client.

Hi, the client has green dot

Hi,

the client has green dot on it.

It has been deployed for months and the virus definiton is showing a blank. Which is quite weird because it should at least have the old definition.

Can I push down the instrall package without uninstalling it?

Hi I am using embedded database.

Hi, you can push the package

Hi, you can push the package using Migration and deployment wizard or you can repair the package using ADD/remove programs for SEP client.

However if the client GUI shows virus definition and it's blank on SEPM, it might be some issue related to DB.

Cheers
Pete

Yes you can

You can push the install package again and check if that resolves your issue.
