Hi,

I installed new server SEPM, after installing successfully i connect old SEPM client to new servers after copy sylink.xml file, During the activity i found that my some SEP clients connected new and getting update but some clients are not appearing on SEPM so they are not updating. please let me do what should i do to sync these SEP clients.

what is the SEPM and SEP version?

can you post the sylink log if th above link from Thomas does not help?

As rightly suggested abovr, use the below link to make sure the communication is good.

If so, then check if the policy serial number on the client is matching with thta of its group in SEPM.

If yes again, send us the logs sylink log

i am using 11.0.2000.1567 SEPM version, Actually i reinstall OS system and SEPM, copy sylink.xml some client updated and appear on SEPM but some client not showing SEPM, i have also intall SEP package file on client but not coming on SEPM, let me know that from where i can take sylink.log file.

SEP client is pinging SEPM server by name as well it means it is communicating.

@knawaz, Version 11.0.2000.1567 is almost 4 years old. I recommend upgrading at your earliest convenience. There have been thousands of fixes since MR2 released. You can log into Fileconnect with a valid serial number to get the latest version.

I would recommend upgrading your SEPM to the latest version before you do anything else. MR2 is a very old build and the amount of improvements we have made to the product since is extensive.

But before that, did you try the suugested steps? Not to mention consideration to upgrade as suggested above.
