SEP Client is part of the image file

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Our SEP client is part of the image file. When we deployed it to our branches, we only see one record on the SEPM, and sometimes the client is changing the computer name.

You have to delete the

You have to delete the Hardware ID registry value before creating the image. You can also refer on the KB article below.

    Client is changing the

    Client is changing the Computer name......is is changing the Host Name of the machine or what???

    He means...

    ...his single SEP client record within the 'Clients' section of the SEPM is changing its name.

    This is expected behaviour when an image is taken of a machine with SEP installed and usd for further OS deployment, without first performing the steps Pete has pointed out
