  • 1.  SEP client reinstall automatically from SEPM ?

    Posted Feb 27, 2013 09:57 AM

    Hi,

I got some of my workstations which was installed with SEP 11.0.4 (managed by SEPM) upgraded to 12.1.2 and failed miserably due to the Teefer2 driver corrupting the NIC driver, therefore I had to visit the all of the workstations after hours and running Cleanwipe.exe to forcefully uninstall the broken 12.1 SEP client.

Once the SEP client is uninstalled, how can I make sure that those workstations get Antivirus installed pushed by the SEPM ?

the workstations got the old entry in the SEP client group so I wonder if they can be push installed automatically or this is not possible.

    John,

You can use the auto-upgrade option to deploy SEP to the clients:

Thanks for the reply Brian, so in this case before using the auto upgrade then I must know all of the name of the workstation or the IP address ?

the problem is that I forgot to remember them all.

Not necessarily. You can use the Client Deployment wizard to scan a subnet to find computers that are unmanaged:
