  • 1.  SEP client still uses old uninstall password, though it has been changed in SEPM

I have just recently find out that one of my Windows 2008 servers, which has SEP 12.1.4 installed (only antivirus module), still uses old uninstall password. Password has been changed few years ago, so i was lucky to still have old one noted down.. I thought SEP should check for password stored on SEPM and not store it locally and even if so, then it should reset it when i do full SEP uninstall and install new package. My packages are without the settings, so probably it doesn't replace current policies, which reside somewhere on the system even after uninstall.

I can probably try searching for all the remaining parts and do clean uninstall, but i want a cleaner solution. How can i make it use the new uninstall password?

Yeah, i've just find out this myself as another server had the old password too. Nevermind, closing the thread.
