  • 1.  SEP client upgrade from 11.0.6 into 12.1.5

    Hi People,

    All of my Windows Server 2008 server fleets are still using SEP client version 11.0.6005.562, so what is the supported and suggested steps to upgrade to 12.1.5 client ?

    The workstations and the newer Windows Server 2012 server fleet are using 12.1.2015.2015 so I guess it is easier and faster time to upgrade them all.

    so I guess it can be upgraded normally as expected.

    Any previous version of 11.x or 12.1 can go right to 12.1.5. Should be simple.

    what does "can be upgraded to enterprise version only." means ?

    is it the same as 

     

    Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0 - International English

    SPS is a suite of products, one of which is SEPM.

    It means it can't be upgraded to small business, enterprise only.

    Cool, so in this case the SEP client v11 can be upgraded in my case to 12.1.5 as per your suggestion ?

    Yes you can upgrade sep client 11.x to latest SEP 12.1.5.
