  • 1.  SEP Client version is higher that SEPM version.

    Hi Good Day.

    May I know if there could be a problem or issue if my SEP Clients version is higher than the SEPM version? My SEPM version is 12.1.4104.4130  and my clients are using SEP 12.1.4112.4156 and SEP 12.1.5.

    No there is no problem but it is not recommended, the SEPM lower version can handle higher SEP client version

    There is no problem but as a best practices SEPM and sep client both version are same.

    some of the new features in the newer client will not be functional with older version of manager if that featue is not available.

    There is no issue. Sepm is able to manage old and newer version. But the recomend is to upgrade the client and sepm in newer versio. Reason behind that is there is alot of issue fixed in newer version for client and sepm.
