    Hello All, I need help with my problem

    I' ve installed SEP Client which can connect to SEPM, the problem is Virus Definition/ Virus and Spyware Protection out of date since installed, this only happens on a client that is not connected to the internet.

    can anyone give some advise what possible reason or solition to fix it?

    Thanks a lot for who's gonna gave their helping hand in my case.

    Client definition may be corrupted. Try to clear the definition of  client.

    How is the client configured to get defs? Do you have the policy assigned correctly?

    You can enable sylink logging to see what is going on

    according to the picture above, a think there is no problem with communication between client and server, this client just unable updating virus def from server isnt it???

    can you enable sylink logging? and check for the communication. you may post the log here.

    have you put liveupdate content policy not to download the definition?

    This is an old reference, but back when I was using Symantec 10, I was able to incorporate the latest definitions into the install package. Anyone know if that can that still be done with the new versions?

    i have no LUA Server on my SEPM infrastructure, i just use SEPM server, is that possibly tu update virus def from SEPM??

    from SEPM liveupdate content policy can you check have you set not to download the 32 bit defiition?

    or have you configured GUP for this group?

    Finally i did it, i just configuring Live Update Policy and set the polici into default management server. thank u
