Are these 64 bit

Are these 64 bit clients?

There are 2 paths for "CommonFilesDir" on a 64 bit system for mapping these locations for appropriately for 32 bit & 64 bit applications
One is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion it should be "C:\Program Files\Common Files"

The Second is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\ and it should be "C:\program files (x86)\common files"

Hope this helps,

Cheers,
Aniket

SEP clients are getting corrupted.

Hi,

Workaround for this is to check which version of SEP was running first.
Take a copy of the file 'ccL60U8.dll' from a working SEP machine of the same version number.
Either replace the missing file, or corrupted file.

Note: Ensure that you replace the file with the correct version of the SEP MR version.

Thanks & Regards Sandip C Sali

Hi,

We have tired to copy the dll files from the working system but it used to get corrupt again.

Thanks for the support but we have found the solution.

On the SEPM server following are configured:

1)  Created a New Client group
2)  Enabled Tamper protection On (Block it and Log)
3)  In Application and Device Control Enabled "Protect Client registry key"
4)  Created a new installation package with all the features.
5)  Unistalled the client with Clean Wipe tool.
6)  Reinstalled with newly created package.

We have observed for more than 10 days and it is working fine.
