  • 1.  SEP Clients are hitting proxy continuously

    SEP clients are hitting proxy continuously. 

    And we have rule in proxy that " Blok ip address which hits proxy 100 times" 

    So SEP client are getting blocked in Proxy 

    Please help me on this.

    on proxy whats the IP/URL the clients getting connected to?

    In the proxy i could find ip blocked list with Symantec:8014

    Please find the above attached screen shot of proxy server.

    You need to explicitly allow 8014 out or configure your clients to only take updates from the SEPM or GUP

    Allowing the 8014 can be done. 

    But the communication between the SEP Manager and clients should happen intenally on the pot 8014 but i could not understant why client are hitting the Firewall.

    Do you allow clients to go out to LU via your LU policy?
