SEP clients not running policy scan

Hey all,
I have just installed SEP11 on one SBS2003R2 server and deployed 15 clients, all XP SP2.  I have also applied the patch to resolve the loss of network mapping because I was getting the same problems from SEP11.  I guess I found this forum to late.
Anyway, my current problem is that I have applied policies for three different groups.  A group for laptops, desktops and server.  The antivirus scheduled scan does not run on the desktop computers.  For some reason, the laptops and servers scan as scheduled but the desktops don't.  I have tried to change the policy or even delete it and recreate a new on but to no avail.
Anybody have any suggestions.

      First tell me this groups are child groups or not.  Verify the policy is shared or apply from inherite group.

I am not sure if they are child groups or not.  The antivirus and antispyware policies are unique for each and are non-shared.  They are not inherited from the Global group.
