  • 1.  SEP Clients Trying to Contact Non-existent Address: stats.qalabs.symantec.com

    According to my firewall logs, all of my SEP client computers continuously try to contact the host stats.qalabs.symantec.com, which DNS can't resolve.  I've tried several differnet DNS services (open DNS, Google DNS, Comodo, etc.).

    The parent domain, qalabs.symantec.com, doesn't resolve either.

    What's going on and can this be disabled?

    Not sure what that hostname is but you can drop it at your firewall until you get it figure out. Might suggest a call to support.
