The SEP client's "Connection Status" page in "Help > Troubleshooting" is returning...

    Status: Not Connected

         Last Attempted Connection:   NEVER

         Last Successful Connection: NEVER

The taskbar icon is still receiving a "green dot" and policy changes are being distributed. Why is this field not populating?

What happens if you force a connection? Does the SEPM show this client as connected?

You can always turn on sylink logging to verify it is connecting.

    What's the exact SEP version?

Client has been online for 12+ hours. Several forced connections have been done. Check-in time updates on the Management tab and in the SEPM.

    Version 12.1.4103.4103

Sounds more of a cosmetic issue then, especially if the client is checking and the SEPM reflects this.

Again, you can enable sylink logging to verify from the client side. Or force a connection and run a netstat to see if the client talks to the SEPM over tcp 8014.

You're on RU4 which is one version behind on the latest which is RU4 MP1...I suppose you can try running a repair or a re-install but that seems unnecessary since everything appears to be working functionally.

Is there any location specific policy applied? like change for DNS, IP subnet ,etc,
