    Hi All

i have a query, why is the  SEP consol different from NAV, with NAV you can view your servers and their clients no probs.

I have a network consisting of 18 NAV servers and 2000 client pc's, with NAV i install one consol on my pc and i can view every NAV server and their clients, canit be possible for SEP?

Are you meaning with the Symantec System Center?

Unfortunately with the Small Business Build of SEP 12.x you are quite limited in management of this type of environment.

With the SEP 11.x product it is possible to setup multiple SEPM servers and have replication, which would allow viewing of different SEPM locations and their respective clients from a single SEPM console.

In addition there is the remote SEPM console which can be utilized to access other SEPM consoles from a remote system, provided there is network connectivity between the system running the remote console and the system running the SEPM.

There is also a remote console for the Symantec Protection Center for SEPSBE 12.x.

The following document link will assist in assessing how to configure SEP 11.x for management of remote locations. It may be worth speaking with your sales person or vendor to see if you can modify your licensing agreement to get the SEP 11.x product.

You can login to any SEP server using remote console. This console can be installed in your PC(For 11.0.6 or above installation is not required just can be accessed via web browser ) and can login to any server.Unlike SAV SEP not required that much servers. In most of the cases we can replace secondary SAV server this GUPs in SEP.
