I have 3 SEPM with 3 external databases located in 3 locations (site A, B and C). Site C and Site B replicate with Site A (only policies [bi-directional] and logs from B and C to A).

Databases are saved and stored on each sepm every day. I keep 6 backups.

My database server on site A encountered an hardware issuer and I lost every data.

My new SQL server is ready (same name and IP), replication process is stopped on remote sites.I am ready to do a database restore with symantec tool.

My question is : What will happen when replication will restart ?

ASsuming you follwed the correct steps for moving the DB server, did you delete the replication partners and re-add them?

Now I have my SEPM server Ok but no database ready. SQL server is ok. I will perfomr a databasa restore.

I let replication partner on other sites but I cancelled replication schedule.

Did you told me to remove replication partner, restore the database and re-create replication partners ?
