    Hi all,

I need to create a query reporting the date/time of installation of the virus definitions on the client side.

Is this possible from the SQL Server? It is written somewhere in the db?

    Thx

click on Monitors > Logs > Log type: System > Log content: Client activity > View log: this will give information of clients getting update.

    you can check this link

    Hello,

Why create a Query...when you could get the same information from the SEPM system Logs and Computer Status Reports?

To Create a System Logs from SEPM for your Issue:

    1) SEPM > Monitors > Logs

    2) Log type: System

    3) Log Content: Client Activity

    4) Select Time Range.

    5) Click on Advance Settings

    6) Event type: Client content Update Events

    Check these Articles:

    About log types

    Hope that helps!!

Are you trying to establish the delay between when a set of definitions is released and when the client installs them? Good luck on that one. Then Mithun above might have the answer for you.

Alternatively, you can always look at my little pet project: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sql-querys-database
