This issue has been solved. See solution.

SEP client takes a huge amount of disk space so i want that all my clients should get installed on some other drive.
I have installed SEP on D:/ Drive manually on few computers but see that it still install few things on C

Is it possible to push sep client directly on D drive from Symantec Endpoint Manager console ?

Thank you for your suggestions

 Check the article below on

Check the article below on how to install it on D or any other drive. Also I would suggest you to upgrade to MR5.

SEP installs few components on all user and common files directory and they cannot be changed.

Something to be aware of.

Even following the instructions of the 3 posts above mine there will be certain files that are always installed on the OS (C:\) drive.

These files include virus definitions and LiveUpdate and generally use ~200mb of disk space.

 The definitions are

The definitions are downloaded to doc & settings\all user \app data\symantec\liveupdate\downloads
that takes some space and the virus defs is also located on C drive that is on program files\common files\symantec shared\virusdefs and they cannot be changed.
