Endpoint Protection

I have installed SEP on my office laptop, but it does not run at all. If I log in to my laptop with different user id, it starts automatically and works fine.

I have admin rights but don't know why its not runing with my account.

It does not show any error message.

I think once SEP installed in system don't need to install again different ID in same computer ?

ya, we don't need to install again for different ID, but it runs for different ID, I mean it scans the files on my drive. But it does not scan, it does not even start with my login ID.

do you mean scan does not start? can you post the scan logs?

SEP does not start on my laptop. When I click on it, shows me UI screen for a second and then disappears. Even it does not show option to scan in the right click to any folder or file.

is the service not running?

can you check task manager and see if the sep processes are running?

in task manager there are no processes running related to SEP.

in services, "Symantec Endpoint Protection", "Symantec Management Client" and "Symantec Network Access Control" are in "Started" phase.

then it should be running. if it had stopped then you should be concerned

Please reconfigue your user Profile after check you are able to scan system.

Yes, I think the problem is with my profile, but do not know where exactly to change.

Just you can ask your enginner and reconfigure your profile.

or

Just take all  backup and rename your profile and relogin your system.
