    Hey Guys,

Just need feedbacks if reboot is required when we enable and disable firewall feature of SEP on clients? I believe it does require to reboot to enable firewall driver to load for packet capture and analysis but need verification and confirmation for this.

    Regards,

Yes, reboot required if Remove feature for sep client.

If yo enable and disabled for client GUI, reboot not required.

So no reboot is required if we just disable or enable firewall from SEPM console by putting check in the box under firewall policies?

No reboot is needed just simply enabling or disabling the firewall. Only if you install the component is it needed, same with removing it. A reboot is needed.

Reboot is required during the installation as it loads the kernel level driver ..for policy modifications reboot is not needed

Thanks Brian and James for your usual swift support. I wish I could mark both of your solutions but have no such option.

You can clear the current solution and that option will be available.
