    Hi,

I need to generate the following reports for all the computers in my environment that are running SEP. The SEPM and clients version is 12.1.4

    1. Number of clients that have SEP firewall component not installed on them.

    2. Number of clients that have SEP Firewall installed but disabled.

    3. Number of clients that have SEP IPS component not installed on them.

    4. Number of clients that have SEP IPS installed but disabled.

Can anyone kindly guide me how can i generate the above reports from SEPM console? Thanks.

This can be quickly gotten from the Computer Status report

Monitors >> Logs >> Computer Status. Export to CSV and drop into Excel and that will allow you to filter.

Thanks Brian. Thats seems like one good way to do it. However i have one query. Is this the only possible way to extract this info?

I only have this concern that it will only show info for clients that have checked in for duration of filter i will choose. Plus its so much extrenous and irrelevant information to sift through. Like computer name which should be the first column is right there at the end. IP Address is in the middle. These should be the first 2 columns ideally in exported CSV file to identify the clients. Rather the first few columns are totally irrelevant like Sequece Number, Pattern Date, Revision etc.

So my query from you is that is it possible to just run individual queries and get single line result with only relevant info?

I have lot clients that checkin to SEPM after around two weeks.

This was always the easiest and quickest way. There isn't a good report you can run because the reports are high level and don't break it down to individual clients in most cases. Some manual work is needed to get the columns arranged.
