    Hi,

    End user was using SEP that is expired in September , he has forgotten the password for is Management Console, pls assist me on this...

    For what version of SEPM?

    In versions prior to SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1, “ResetPass.bat” can be found in the Tools folder of the SEPM install directory.

    This script was designed to forcefully reset the default administrator account password, provided it has not been linked to an Active Directory account.

    This script is no longer supported by Symantec and has not been tested on any version of the SEPM past 12.1 RU1. Using this script on any later version may cause damage to your SEPM or database.

    That tool should work then.

    password will be reset to admin/admin and you will need to change on next login.

    I have checked with the customer he's having SEP 12.1, could you please assist me for the same.

    For 12.1 you can click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen and it will email a temporary password to whatever email address was setup .
