    Posted Jan 08, 2015 04:26 AM

    Hi,

I have one SEPM server and approx 1200 GUP at different locations. GUP and clients were taking update from SEPM server.

But some GUP and there clients stopped getting update from SEPM server.

There is no issue of connectivity between Client and GUP, GUP and SEPM and Client and SEPM.

    Regards

    Pankaj

Have you check restart GUP client service ?

Please run symhelp tool on gup client and check virus defination are corrupted or not .

Have you verified the GUP client is working fine???

You can run the symhelp tool on one GUP client and diagnose the issue

Download the Symantec Help (SymHelp) diagnostic tool to detect Symantec product issues

you can also check the GUP health from Distribution monitoring tool.

Post the sylink.log file from GUP client.whats the space reserved for the GUP? 500 MB is default, if the size of defs are more than that, then GUP would not download defs. This might happen if outdated cleints are requesting more defs from GUP

Enable sylink logging to see what's going on.
