    There is no SEP for Linux, you can install SAV which is found in CD2

    Make sure its MR10 or higher.

    And you can not manage your Linux Clients from the SEPM Console. You just can send all your Logs from the Linux Clients to your SEPM.

    Symantec Endpoint Protection version 11/12 does not support Linux environment. There is no SEP for Linux. There is SAV for Linux (SAVFL) which is included on the SEP disk download.

    Yes, it is reliable link.

    As per Elisha's comment: "We added support for Ubuntu 12.04.  See:  http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH101598"

    In the System requirements we can see the following supported versions:

    Ubuntu 12.04, 11.10, 11.04, 10.04, 9.10, 8.04

    2) How to check status of SAV client, I mean sav client is on line or off-line on linux Ubuntu.
