  • 1.  SEP installation failure

    I am unable to install SEP 11 on a windows Vista machine
    error code 10005: Symantec Endpoint Protection has detected that there are pending system changes that require a reboot. Please reboot the system.
    Even after numerous restarts,still getting error message

    Hello,

    What version of SEP are you trying to Install??

    You just need to delete this registry key and run the install, things should be fine.

    On Windows Vista, check this under the Registry:

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager

    (NOTE: Make sure you take a Backup of the Registry Entry before deleting the same)
