Endpoint Protection

I'm having difficulty installing SEP 11.7MR2

The problems replicate those who have had this trouble in the past.  Please refer to this thread;

I have attempted to remove the program, and clean the installation folder method outlined as the solution, but this does not help.

I have attempted the Symantec experts solution of following the steps outlined here - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO26898 - but this does not work as the database management wizard only gives me the option of creating database, not managing an existing.

My logs are exactly the same as already posted.

Is there an actual solution to this?

SBS 2011 primary server, with Server 2008R2 as the applications server to which i'm attempting to install SEP to.
