SEP installs on all Win7 64Bit PC but fails on one?! (I have searched!!)
I will try and be as concise as possible, I have searched the forum for the last hour but could not find a solution.
I am testing Endpoint Protection for Small Business, I have the SEP Manager installed on my XP PC, I have successfully remotley installed SEP Client onto 1 Win7 32Bit PC, 1 Win7 64Bit, . I tried to install on a second Win7 64Bit PC but it fails?
The install seems to go ok and NO error messages appear, the SEP Manager correctly states that there are 4 Endpoints which is correct BUT the SECOND Win7 64Bit PC says the following-
- In the CLIENT view in the SEP manager the PC health state is 'Offline'
- It says clinet needs a 'RE-START', i have restarted the PC several times but it does not fix the problem
- There is no SEP shield icon on th eeffected PC's taskbar
- There are no visual warnings or errors on the effected PC
Can anybody suggest a solution, the only difference is the Win7 64Bit that has SEP installed is a Dell laptop and th ePC it wont install on is a Dell tower PC
