dears ,

i have a problem with SEP installation , suddenly the SEP features on SEPM server  were disappeared , only network threat protection feature is active and AV and proactive protection are disappeared .



however when i tried to locate SEP with add/remove programms it wasnot there , and its servise is disabled .

i tried to install SEP again using SEPM but it gave me error , another installation is in progress .


what i can do with this issue ?

 In SEPM - CLients- highlight group - Select Install Package
Make sure nothing is there.

Then on the client
Open Task Manager
Kill all msiexec.exe
then try removing it from add/remove programs.Or follow manual removal procedure

open task manager, kill all the msiexec.exe
start-run-ncpa.cpl
look for teefer2drive , unisntall the drive
use this tool to remove sep

reboot install new sep again.

i cannot find symantec at all in add/remove programms .

however , it is shown in the lower right tray of desktop.


plz advise .

 If not helps contact support and get cleanwipe utility (This will remove SEPM also, so better to go with manual removal)
