This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hey Guys,

We install IT Analytics and are planning to use it with our SEPM for reporting. After successfully installing the IT Analytics we are having problem with connecting the SEPM SQL database to the IT Analytics, please see the screenshots.

We also tried to use ODBC for testing if our IT Analytics server can connect to the SEPM server and it was successfull.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thansks,

Hey that was a very useful article,

We are using windows authentication. Is there any other way? based on the link we should use SQL Authentication which I believe in the sql side it should be set as mixed mode.

Thanks,

it has to be SQL as per the line copied from above link, "The username must be a SQL username not Windows. This must have Public and SysAdmin rights in SQL. SQL must also be set to use SQL and Authentication Mode."

Hi,

Yeah thanks, I was just thinking that since you have a Symantec Employee Tag on your name maybe you have a workaround^_^,.

Thank again,.
