    Hello,

1} how can i login to the admin : I think you are trying to login in sep client machine, in sep client machine you an just check the status and You can login in SEPM console with admin user name and password.

2}  i want to make changes in it. : once you get login in SEPM console (Antivirus server) with admin login, then you can make changes.

3} how can i login to this administration console. to login in SEPM console you should have administrator user accunt.

To login in SEPM console, you have to login in server which SEPM (Antivirus server) server machine, then you can open sepm and you can get login in console with admin account or your own accout.

Are you talking about the SEPM console? Do you have access to the server that the SEPM resides on?

If you open your SEP client and go to Help >> Troubleshooting it will show the name or IP of the SEPM, do you see this?

Then go to this URL from a browser.

    http://yourSEPMIP:9090

You should be able to download the remote console and login with your credentials. If you do not have credentials then you need to contact your admin.

Are you an admin of the SEPM?

The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://10.140.*.**:9090/

    Connection to 10.140.*.** failed.

The system returned: (110) Connection timed out

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

    Your cache administrator is webmaster.

    I don't know whether i am admin or not....how can i know this ?

    Hi,

Please check who has access of SEPM console..and request them to create a administrator account for you.

So that you can get login on SEPM console with  your user name and password.

Please share the screen shot of the error.

    Hi,

You can download the file here: resetpass.bat or just copy and paste into notepad and save asresetpass.bat in \Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools folder

You will need to run this from command prompt with admin priviledges and your admin login will be set to:

    username: admin
    password: admin

    @echo off
    setlocal

    set CATALINA_HOME=%CD%..\tomcat
    set JRE_HOME=%CD%..\jre

    “%JRE_HOME%\bin\java.exe” -Xms64m -Xmx256m -XX:MinHeapFreeRatio=30 -XX:MaxHeapFreeRatio=40 -classpath “%CD%..\bin\inst.jar;%CD%..\bin\inst-res.jar” -Dcatalina.home=”%CATALINA_HOME%” -Djava.library.path=”%CATALINA_HOME%\bin;%CATALINA_HOME%..\ASA\win32com.sygate.scm.tools.DatabaseFrame setpassword admin admin
    endlocal
