SEP Mac client

All,
Does nayone have some info on a road map for the sep mac client.
Currently it include av, I'm looking for more functions like the windows clients.
McAfee has a nice mac client but would rather not switch.

Will this ever change is my real question? If not in the near furture then I will probably need to say goodbye to Symantec Endpoint.
I couldn't answer with anything definite but I have seen the firewall on the roadmap for Mac clients

Currently the SEP protection tehcnologies include only AV protection for MAC. 12.1 RU2 cam with support of Mountain Lion release: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH194046

Unfortunately the roadmap is not a topic upon which I can comment. Enhanced capabilities for the SEP for Mac client are coming, but Symantec cannot currently make any promises about how soon they will be released into the product.

We can not comment about roadmap but yes you might see enhancements in the upcoming SEP releases.
