  • 1.  SEP Manager is checking for update constantly

    Dear ALL, As appair in subject, please help me I have SEP Manager Version: 11.0.780.1109 Operating System: Windows 2003 It is always checking for update... Of course I Scheduled the update proccess to be weekly update; but still always checking for update I changed the Schedule to be daily; but same problem ..could you please help me in this matter. thank you..

    You are using the very first version of SEPM - still from 2007:

    Since the first version many fixes were made. I would suggest to uninstall it and reinstall with the RU6 MP2 version (the newest available)

    You can download the newest version from https://fileconnect.symantec.com (log with your serial number from the contract)

    As w-d stated, upgrade. There have been thousands of fixes since 11.0.780.1109 released. Take a look at the release notes for features and fixes included since MR4 MP2.

    Since you are carrying  Older version 11.0.780

    We recommend you to upgrade the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and all clients to Latest version.

    You could get the Latest updated verion on

    https://fileconnect.symantec.com

     

    Since you are carrying old version, there would be 2 upgrades you will have to go through. Please check the steps below:

    1) From Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.780 to Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6005 (RU6a)
