  • 1.  SEP manager not installing on SBS 2008 server

    Error 2736 (pretty sure...) "Unable to access VB runtime" and terminates.

    Anyone have an idea what may be the issue?

    It is patched up to date.

    Hi,

    Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
     
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Warning: Check existing application connectivity before making changes with the vbscript.dll. We would request you to consult Microsoft before making the mentioned changes in order to ensure that these suit your System environment
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     
    Register the vbscript.dll
         1.Use the command regsvr32 vbscript.dll 
         2.After executing this command you should receive the confirmation for successful registration of dll file
     
    If issue still occurs even after registering the dll file then,
     
          1. Download the latest version of windows script host and install it on machine
          2. Download the latest version of windows script 
          3. Install the same on the System 
          4. Reboot the machine

    Thanks Chetan, will do. Just need to get server after hours again...

    I got side tracked as I stupidly thought Windows Update would scan for things like that?
